Singer Alicia Keys, 29, and her husband, music producer/rapper Swizz Beatz, 31, joyfully welcomed a bouncing baby boy, whom they named Egypt Daoud Dean on Oct. 14th. A spokesperson for Keys said she gave birth in New York City.
This is Alicia's first child and it makes the fourth child for Beatz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean. The couple was married July 31, 2010 in a private ceremony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Swizz Beatz took a moment to tweet on Friday: "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life." The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, singer Mary J. Blige, also tweeted her congratulations on the couple's birth. Both Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz said they are excited to start a family together.
